Riverdance
On May 11, 2011, Casper welcomed the US touring company of Riverdance. Those who attended the performance enjoyed an enchanting evening of music, song and dance.
Following the performance, IDAC Wyoming was treated with a special meet and greet with several of the Riverdance dancers. It was an opportunity our young dancers will never forget.
We thank the cast members for taking the time to visit with us and sign autographs. Particular thanks to Joe Moriarty, lead dancer and Richens/Timm Academy alum, for making it possible.

Buachailleacht* Ball – Our Annual Ceili** ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
*Once, cattle-raising was so central to the Irish economy that the term cowherd or cowboy was generalized to mean any young male.
While buachailleacht may still be used for herding, today the Irish buachaill, compound of cow/servant (bo/cail) is more commonly referenced as “boy”.
** A Ceili is a traditional Gaelic celebration. At our annual Ceili, we enjoy performances by our dancers, ceili (group) dancing for all guests, music, food, cake walks, silent auction items, family, friends, and a whole lot of fun.
